Masayuki Tokioka, Founder

Hawaiian Properties Ltd., formerly National Mortgage & Finance Co., Ltd., was founded in 1929 to make personal and commercial loans available to Hawaii residents who had difficulty obtaining conventional financing.

In 1935, the company entered the property management business, receiving its real estate license the following year. Although the business was renamed National Mortgage Real Estate Corporation and most recently to Hawaiian Properties, Ltd., it has been in the property management business continually since 1935 and is Hawaii's oldest and most experienced property management company.
